I totally needed a break after Shadow of Hegemon. One can only take too much dose of politics and military strategy. Sometimes, people like me also need something romantic and light and funny. Considering all three elements, I knew I want to read Gekkan Shoujo right then.

Let me tell you that before opening this manga, you have to prepare yourself first to a lot of emotional abuse and self-deprecation. If you’re not up for that, then you’re just going to piss yourself by even trying.
Apart from the fact that I’m one heck of a sucker for unrequited love stories (and besides the fact that Naoki is just my type of guy), there’s a reason why this anime has been always close to my heart.
